Biography Tim Doiron

Born in 1979, on Sept. 21st, Tim was raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick (Canada). He moved to Toronto after being accepted into the esteemed “Ryerson University” where he graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre.

It was during his time at Ryerson that Tim first got a chance to work with April Mullen, collaborating together on a dark sketch comedy clown show.

In 2005, Tim decided to turn his focus to feature film and co-founded the award winning production company WANGO Films Inc., which specializes in comedic feature film.

Timʼs first project with the company was the feature film Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Way of the Tosser, which he wrote and produced. The film went on to garner international acclaim and numerous awards from around the globe.

His second film with the company, GravyTrain, which he wrote and produced, was theatrically released in Canada in April of 2010 and is currently moving into the international marketplace. Both Tosser and GravyTrain were picked up by Alliance Films for distribution in Canada and can be seen on store shelves and a variety of Pay TV channels across the nation.

Tim just put the finishing touches on Canadaʼs first Stereoscopic 3D feature film, Dead Before Dawn 3D, which launched into market at the 2012 EFM & Cannes Film Market. Next up he is working on a 13-part comedy TV Series and numerous Feature Films.

Tim’s film and television credits include : Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Way of the Tosser, Howie Do It, Queer As Folk, Monster Warriors, Anamorphosis, I Hate Moosicals & The Legend of Clipper Dos Santos.
